When your trial key file expires, a Kaspersky Lab product stops working. If a product is not activated, then you cannot launch any application task (scan, update). The Kaspersky icon in the right lower part of the window is grey. Trying to open the main window you will get a message that your trial license expires.
It is impossible to use another trial key file to activate the same product. In order a Kaspersky Lab product functions normally, add a new commercial or NFR key file.
