  • There has appeared a special utility that helps work with the key files: add key file, add reserve key file. This itility is available in the latest version of Kaspersky Lab packages for home users:

  • Kaspersky Anti-Virus Personal 5.0.383 and above
  • Kaspersky Anti-Virus Personal PRO 5.0.383 and above
  • Personal Firewall Kaspersky Anti-Hacker 1.8.180
  • Kaspersky Anti-Spam Personal

    To start work with utility, do the following:

  • Go to Start > All Programs > Kaspersky Lab program product > Install License Key
  • You may add new or reserve key file in the open window

    While adding a license key file the next cases are possible:

    It is possible to add a license key

    You see all information about the chosen key file in License key Information section and the status which shows the information about the release and the expire date of the license key file work



    It is impossible to add a selected license key file as it is being used by one of our Kaspersky Lab products run on your computer

    You see all information about the selected key file in License Key Information section and the status which shows the information that the chosen license key file is being used already.



    It is impossible to add a selected license key file as it does not pass to any Kaspersky Lab products installed/run on your computer

    You see all information about the selected key file in License key Information section and the empty status window



    It is possible to add a license key file as a backup key file

    You see all information about the selected key file in the License Key Information section and the status which shows the information that there is an acting key file for Kaspersky Lab software product installed on your computer as well as the information about the release and expire date of the license key file work you have chosen in case you add it as a backup key.
