Concerning to Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.0 Personal 5.0 for Windows Workstations 5.0.527 - 5.0.712

The system to restore functionality of Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.0 for Windows Workstations after an application failure and delay in work has been added in the latest versions of Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.0 for Windows Workstations (version 5.0.527 and above). The recovery after error system can be managed via the GUI (graphic interface) of Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.0 for Windows Workstations.

To enable/disable (by default the recovery after error system is enabled), do the following:

  • go to Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.0 for Windows Workstations > Settings > Additional Settings
  • in the open window go to the Security tab 
  • in the Starting the application section check the Use recovery after error systems checkbox. 
  • close the window by clicking the OK button
  • minimize the Kaspersky Anti-virus 5.0 for Windows Workstations main window
