	What is a key file?

A license key file is needed to use any Kaspersky Lab’s program. Without a license key file Proactive Defense does not function and the databases do not update.

To get a key file for a restricted period of time (1 month), do the following:

1. Open Kaspersky Lab’s site on the page: http://www.kaspersky.co.uk/koss2_trial_download

2. Enter info about your company and network configuration, and in the list of product components mark Kaspersky Lab’s applications you are interested in testing. It is mandatory to check/choose Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Servers Enterprise Edition.

A trial license key will be given according to the checked boxes, number of defined workstations/ servers and selected applications.

Click OK at the bottom of the list.

3. A trial key file will be sent to the given mail address for the selected products. The message will also contain a link to Kaspersky Lab’s site where you can download distributives of the selected products.

The key will only function with the products selected in the form.

4. Download the necessary applications and install them with the received key file.

A trial key file can be installed in the applications once only! As soon as the trial key expires Proactive defense in the applications stops functioning and the anti-virus databases are not updated any more.

If after a test trial you have decided to purchase the application you will not have to reinstall the application. Just add a purchased license key instead of a trial one.
