Concerning to Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Servers Enterprise Edition

In Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Servers Enterprise Edition you can disable access of the Real-time protection task to files which are being accessed during the backup process.

Warning Pay attention, the Anti-Virus will not scan files opened for reading and with the BACKUP_SEMANTICS attribute!

To enable this option in:

Build 6.0.0.454:

1. Open the Anti-Virus Console > right-click Real-time protection > select Properties > select Real-time file protection.

2. In the open window go to the Trusted processes tab and check the box Do not check files backup operations.

Build 6.0.1.511 or above:

1. Open the Anti-Virus Console > right-click Kaspersky Anti-Virus > select Configure trusted zone.

2. In the open window on the Trusted processes tab check the box Do not check files backup operations (by default the box is checked) and click OK.

3. Open the properties of the Real-time file protection task, go to the Protection mode tab and make sure the Apply Trusted zone option is checked.

Warning Remember this option (in all builds) is not applied to the On-demand scan tasks!
