HOW TO UPDATE TO THE NEW VERSION
Build 6.0.2.551 supports installation “over the top” of previous builds 6.0.0.454 and 6.0.1.511.
Locally
1. Download the distributive of build 6.0.2.551 for Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Servers Enterprise Edition.
2. On the protected server update the server part of Kaspersky Anti-Virus.
When updating version 6.0.0.454: if SNMP service is launched on the server and SNMP protocol support is enabled in Kaspersky Anti-Virus, in this case the server should be restarted once the update is over.
3. On the protected server and other computers, from which Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Servers Enterprise Edition is managed remotely via its console, update the version of Administration Tools of Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Servers Enterprise Edition.
Remotely, via Kaspersky Administration Kit
1. Create an installation package to install Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Servers Enterprise Edition. In the settings of the installation package define the same Anti-Virus components which are already installed.
Those components which are installed and not defined in the package, will be deleted during the version update.
2. Based on the newly created installation package, create and run a remote install task for the required servers.
Once update to version 6.0.0.454 is over, the server should be restarted!
3. On all Administration Consoles via which Kaspersky Anti-Virus Касперского 6.0 for Windows Servers Enterprise Edition is going to be managed remotely install the new version of the Anti-Virus control plugin: on each computer with the installed Console (except the computer via which an installation package was created), run the file klcfginst.exe from the Anti-Virus distributive (the plugin subfolder).
If Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Servers Enterprise Edition is managed remotely via its Console, in this case perform advanced configuration of the computer with the installed console.
