You can install the Anti-Virus on several servers via a new or already existing group policy of Active Directory. servers on which you are going to install the Anti-Virus via a group policy should meet the following requirements:
1. check the DNS-server settings
Run the ping command from each server and connect with the domain controller and visa versa, run the same command from the domain controller to connect with each server.
2. Save the msi-file of the Anti-Virus installation package (\server\kavws.msi) and/or the msi-file of the Administration Tools package (\client\kavwstools.msi), which would correspond to the capacity of the installed Microsoft Windows in the share folder on the domain controller from which you are going to install the Anti-Virus on file servers. You can save the msi-file in the default share folder on the domain controller or create a new folder manually.
Via group polices AD Anti-Virus and the Administration Tools can be installed with the default parameters only.
1. Open the console Active Directory – Users and Computers.
2. In the console tree right-click the organizational unit on the computers you are going to install the Anti-Virus and choose Properties.
3. On the Group Policy tab click the New button to create a new policy. Enter the name of the newly created policy.
4. Right-click the newly created policy and choose Edit (open Group Policy Object Editor).
5. Expand the Computer Configuration node > expand the Software Installation node.
6. Right-click the Software Installation node and choose New > Package.
7. In the Open dialog window specify the path to the saved msi-file of the Anti-Virus or Administration Tools installation package in the UNC format > click Open.
8. In the Deploy Software dialog window, click the button Assigned, and then click the OK button. Package name will be displayed in the result panel of the Group Policy window.
9. In the Computer Configuration node expand the embedded node Administrative templates > Windows components.
10. In the console tree select Windows installer.
11. In the result panel double-click the parameter Always install with elevated privileges and choose Enabled (this parameter should also be enabled for the group users (the User Configuration node)).
12. Click the Apply button and then click OK.
13. In the Group Policy window click OK.
14. Minimize the console Active Directory – Users and Computers.
15. Apply the changes by running one of the following commands:
