Concerning to Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Servers Enterprise Edition

Behaviour:

1. You have a file with the “encrypted” attribute.

2. Either quarantine or back up the file.

3. When restoring the file from the quarantine or the backup storage the “encrypted” attribute is not restored.

Reason:

When restoring the file with the “encrypted” attribute from a storage this file will be encrypted by the system under the account of the user who is restoring the file. It means the user under whose rights the file was encrypted before being placed to a storage will not have access to the file once it is restored.

That is why once the file is restored it will not be encrypted.
