Sometimes infected files/objects are detected but not deleted/disinfected. Disinfection is impossible if malicious programs, detected on the computer, do not infect files and are not viruses by their origin. Usually these programs are detected as I-Worm, Trojan, Backdoor, Adware, Riskware. If you have such a situation, firstly define where the infected files/objects are located, this information can be found in the corresponding report file of Kaspersky Anti-Virus.

To disinfect\delete these objects please do the follwoing:

- restart the operating system in Safe Mode and run the antivirus scanner, by choosing preliminary in the settings action upon detection infected files/objects the Perform recommended action option – when an object is detected an attempt will be made automatically to disinfect an infected object and if the attempt fails, the infected object will be deleted

InformationIf your computer is in the LAN, then there is a great possibility that your computer is being infected from another computer in the same net. In this case all computers in the net should be disinfected, being preliminary disconnected from the LAN.

InformationPay attention that all security patches, released by MicroSoft company for the operating system you are using, are installed on your computer. As usually PC gets infected because the critical updates have not been installed in time.
