How to delete infected files from Temporary Internet Files folder in Internet Explorer 8.0?

In order to remove infected files stored in the folder Temporary Internet files, do the following:

launch Internet Explorer 8.0
in the left upper corner select Tools
in the drop-down menu select Internet Options
in the Internet Options window in the section Browsing history click the Delete button
check the box Temporary Internet files in the window Delete Browsing history
click the Delete button
minimize all windows.
