At the operating system startup Kaspersky Anti-Virus version 6.0 by default scans startup objects/files for malicious code.
If you by some reason want to disable the function (for advanced users only), do the following:
- Open the main application window of Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0
- Click Settings in the upper menu
- In the left part of the Settings window select Scan and then Startup objects
- If you click the Change button in the Run Mode section, the Schedule: Startup objects window opens. In the window the schedule for the task can be configured. In the right part of the window in the Run Mode section uncheck At program start
- Close each window by pressing OK
- Minimize the main application window
