On the 18th of October, 2007 Kaspersky Lab announces release of Critical Fix 1 for Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 SOS (build 6.0.3.830).

Errors fixed:

1. "Haxdoors of the Kaspersky Antivirus 6/7" vulnerability in Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 SOS klif.sys driver has been fixed (http://www.rootkit.com/newsread.php?newsid=778).

2. Problems of compatibility with Kaspersky Administration Kit version 6.0.1565 have been eliminated.

InformationTo manage Kaspersky Anti-Virus SOS version 6.0.3.830 remotely via Kaspersky Administration Kit 6.0, install the Application Control Plug-in version 6.0.3.831 on the Administration Console by running the file klcfginst.exe from the Anti-Virus distributive, run this file on all computers with the installed Administration Console via which Kaspersky Anti-Virus SOS 6.0 is going to be managed.
