    • The problem arises because the standard set of Windows 98SE/ME/NT/2000 does not include Windows Installer 2.0 necessary to run the setup file of Kaspersky Anti-Virus versions 6.0/7.0. To rectify the problem, download and install Windows Installer version 2.0 or higher.
