Remote administration program RAdmin is added to an extended set of anti-virus databases and is correspondingly detected by Kaspersky Anti-Virus as not-a-virus. If you want the Anti-Virus not to detect RAdmin, exclude detection of the programs of the kind locally via the Anti-Virus interface.

To set the exclusions vie the interface:

1. Open the Kaspersky Anti-Virus interface > go to Settings

2. Choose Protection > Trusted zone

3. On the Exclusion masks tab click Add and in the open window:

    • In the Properties section uncheck Object and check Verdict (to exclude a threat irrespective of its location and contents)

Information To specify a definite location of an excluded object do not uncheck Objects and in the Rule description section in the Object name line define a definite file, folder or an exclusion mask

    • In the Rule description section in the Verdict mask line click the Specify link and enter a mask of the excluded threat - not-a-virus:RemoteAdmin.Win32.RAdmin*.

Warning Never enter the *RAdmin* mask as in this case you can let through obviously malicious programs, like Backdoor.Win32.RAdmin.a.
