Before you activate the product, make sure the system date is set correctly on your computer!

Once the files are copied the Setup Wizard offers activating Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Workstations\ Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Servers. The activation variants are the following: 

• Apply existing license key – either a valid or newly purchased key will be added 
• Activate later – skips activation on this step. Anti-Virus databases can be updated immediately after the activation.

To activate a product with a license key, do the following: 

• In the Setup Wizard: Kaspersky Anti-Virus window choose Apply existing license key and click Next.

If you click the commercial link in the Setup Wizard: Kaspersky Anti-Virus window you can activate the activation code and get a key file on the activation page: https://activation.kaspersky.com. If you choose trial link you can download a trial key file for the installed Kaspersky Anti-Virus version 6.0 from Kaspersky Lab site. 

• Click Browse in the next window 

• Select the folder into which the license key was saved 
• Highlight a key file 
• Click Open

In the Setup Wizard: Kaspersky Anti-Virus window make sure the number, type, owner and expiration date of the key file are correct 

• Click Next 
• In the window make sure the license key has been successfully added 
• Click Next to continue
