Concerning all Kaspersky Lab’s products

When a commercial key file expires (this type of key is valid a year or more) the application will continue functioning in its full volume, but it will not be able to download new databases of known threats (anti-virus, etc.). I.e. the application will continue to disinfect infected objects / filter spam, but with the databases which were downloaded on the last day of your key file validity. Even if you manage to download the databases manually and try to install these to the product, the product will stop functioning at all.

Information You cannot prolong the license validity period of a commercial key file by adding a trial key file. No trial key file can be added to the product once a commercial key file was installed.

When a trial key file expires (a trial key is valid as a rule from 1 to 3 months’ period) the application stops functioning.

Information You cannot install two or more trial key files on your computer concurrently/ in turn; as the validity period of another trial key file will not either overlap or prolong the license validity period of the first trial key.

To restore the product’s functionality when any key file has expired you should simply add a new commercial key file into the product (or activate a new activation code – for personal products). You do not have to reinstall the application.
