Create this file the following way: Start the executable file with /verbose"C:\IS.log" parameter (there is no space after verbose).
As a result a tracing file with the name IS.log will be created in disc C:\ root catalogue. Attach this file to the HelpDesk form with the description of the installation problem.
The general format of the tracing file installation process should be the following:

In Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Windows Workstations 5.0.676 and Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.0 SOS logs are created automatically during local installation or during remote installation/uninstallation via Kaspersky Administration Kit 5.0.
The Logs are located to the folder %temp% (usually C:\Windows\Temp or C:\Documents and Settings\<profile_name>\LocalSettings\Temp) under the following names:
The log is not created:
- if the deinstallation process is run from the menu
- if the installation process is run via the msi-file
