Kaspersky Security 5.5 for PDA usually fails to download the antivirus database when there is no connection to the Internet. If the device is connected to the internet, the antivirus database update correctly.
Such situation may also occur if the desktop (user computer) uses a proxy-server with authorization to connect to the Internet. The PDA-client does not have the authorization mechanism on a proxy server, they use anonymous authorization. The simplest way to rectify the problem is to install a proxy on a desktop without authorization.
