  • SMS-Block allows blocking the device at the user's discretion. You can unblock the device only after you enter a password used to access the Anti-Theft module. This setting is enabled after the user of the stolen smartphone sends to this smartphone SMS: "block:code". The SMS-Block will be activate when it is selected: read the information message and press OK if you wish to use this function.

SMS-Clean allows erasing user's personal information (contact, incoming messages, personal files). This feature is triggered after the user of the stolen device sends to this device SMS: "clean:code". The SMS-Clean will be activated when it is selected: specify the required values for the settings, read the information message and press OK if you wish to use this function.

If your phone has been lost, in this case it is recommended to use another mobile device (phone) to send SMS-messages to the lost phone for blocking both the SIM-card and the device and erasing your personal data from the lost phone. Otherwise the commands sent to block the lost phone and to erase your personal data may not work, as a lot of free SMS-services add unnecessary symbols (gaps, line folding and other symbols) to the commands "clean:code" and "block:code".

For example, when sending the command "clean:12345" via a free SMS-service a <gap> can be added. As a result the command will look the following: "clean:12345 " (with the gap), whereas in the settings of the SMS-Clean module the code “12345” has been entered without a gap. Thus the command to erase the data will not be performed as the code sent to the lost phone by SMS does not correspond to the code set in the settings of the SMS-Clean code.
