How to disable Quarantine scan in Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7.0\Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0

  • Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7.0 (all builds)
  • Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0 (all builds)
  • Quarantine is a special storage area that holds objects potentially infected with viruses.

    Potentially infected objects are objects that are suspected of being infected with viruses or modifications of them.

    By default quarantine is scanned after each anti-virus database update.

    To disable scan of the quarantine, do the following: 

    • open the main application window 
    • click the Settings button 
    • click Update 
    • in the right part of the window clear the box Rescan Quarantine 
    • click the OK button 
    • minimize the main application window

    InformationThe dialog windows for Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0 and Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7.0 are the same but with corresponding product names and the number of Protection components
