Concerning to:
  • Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2009
  • Kaspersky Internet Security 2009
  • Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0/7.0 (all builds)
  • Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0/7.0 (all builds)

  • Useful links

When you install Kaspersky Lab’s products version 2009 “on top” of Kaspersky Lab products version 6.0 and 7.0 the following settings are installed/relocated automatically

    • Current anti-virus databases
    • license product info

Tasks’ and components’ settings different from default settings cannot be relocated from version 6.0 and 7.0 onto version 2009. Products version 2009 are essentially new and differ from versions 6.0 and 7.0 by new technologies, a different set of components, modules and application tasks. That is why settings of versions 6.0 and 7.0 are incompatible with settings of version 2009.
