How to manage Statistics in Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7.0\Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0

Concerning to:
  • Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7.0 (all builds)
  • Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0 (all builds)
  • In its work each component of Kaspersky Anti-Virus version 7.0 logs its Statistics which depending on the settings of the Anti-Virus contains information either about infected/suspicious for infection objects or about all scanned objects. To manage Statistics in Kaspersky Anti-Virus version 7.0, do the following: 

    • Open the main application window 
    • In the Protection section in the right part of the window click Computer protection status

     

    The Statistics window contains 5 tabs:

    • The Detected tab – shows on the screen list of detected infected objects, the full path to each object and its status. 
    • The Events tab – shows on the screen all events concerning to Kaspersky Anti-Virus version 7.0 
    • The Reports tab – shows on the screen lists of tasks and components of Kaspersky Anti-Virus version 7.0, status of a task\component, when the task\component was started\finished in the current session, size of a report file for a component\task. 
    • The Quarantine task – shows on the screen the list of quarantined objects, their size, update date and a full path to the object. 
    • The Backup tab – shows on the screen a list of infected objects, copies of the originals which were located in Backup before disinfection\deletion, their status, a full path to the object and its status.

    The following actions from the context menu can be applied to the fields of the tabs in the Statistics window 

    • Sort Ascending – sorts reports\objects by their size top-down 
    • Sort Descending - sorts reports\objects by their size bottom-up 
    • Component - enables/disables the Component field for the Reports tab 
    • Status – enables\disables the Status field for the tabs Detected, Reports, Quarantine, Backup
    • Time - enables\disables the Time field for the tabs Events and Backup 
    • Added - enables\disables the Added field for the Quarantine tab 
    • Event - enables\disables the Event field for the Events tab
    • Object - enables\disables the Object field for the tabs Detected, Backup and Quarantine
    • Start - enables\disables the Start field for the Reports tab 
    • Finish - enables\disables the Finish field for the Reports tab 
    • Size - enables\disables the Size field for the tabs Reports, Quarantine and Backup.

    In the right bottom corner of the Statistics window the computer protection can be stopped, paused or started if it has been stopped by clicking the corresponding button (Pause, Stop or Start).

    InformationThe dialog windows for Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0 and Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7.0 are the same but with corresponding product names and the number of components in the Protection menu
