  • If Kaspersky Anti-Virus version 6.0\7.0 is installed on your PC and you scan files for viruses via network, then the following information might be displayed incorrectly in the Statistics window:

    • the account and the computer name, on which the files under scan reside, are displayed incorrectly in the Statistics window on the Events tab
    • the account and the computer name, on which the files under scan reside, are displayed incorrectly in the Statistics window on the Detected tab. Sometimes these data are not displayed at all.

These are working peculiarities of Kaspersky Anti-Virus version 6.0/7.0. The matter is that in the events list on the Events tab account and computer name, on which the scanned file is opened, is displayed (but physically the file resides on another computer).

The list of detected malicious objects on the Detected tab will display the account and the computer name, on which the scanned\ infected file was edited.

This information might not be displayed at all if Kaspersky Anti-Virus version 6.0/7.0 was installed after the scanned\infected file had been last modified\created.
