To activate a trial or commercial version of Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7.0 /Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0 using the activation code the computer on which you want to install the application should be connected to Internet
When installing Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7.0\Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0 once the setup wizard is started the Activation window is opened with four activation variants:
Activate using the activation code – 20-marks activation code should be entered. For successful activation your computer must be connected to Internet. In this case the Setup Wizard downloads and installs the license key file automatically.
Activate trial version – the Setup Wizard downloads and installs a key file which is valid for 30 days. For successful activation your computer must be connected to Internet. The trial version is fully functional. When the trial key expires update of anti-virus databases is not available.
Apply existing license key – add a key file which has not expired.
Activate later – skip activation on this step. Databases can be updated immediately after activation is complete.
To activate a trial version of Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7.0\Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0, do the following:
in the Setup wizard window select Activate trial version (30 days)
click Next
wait, till the Setup wizard connects to Kaspersky Lab’s server and activates the trial version
in the Setup wizard window make sure the trial version has been successfully installed
click the Finish button
If you have failed to activate the trial version somehow when installing the application (for example, your computer was not connected to Internet at that moment), do it later, when the program is already installed on your computer:
open the main application window
click Activation
in the right part of the window click the Install key link
Repeat the activation procedure described above
Minimize the main application window
The dialog windows of Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7.0 and Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0 are the same but with the corresponding product names and the number of Protection components
