Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7.0 MP1 (build 7.0.1.325)

This article concerns Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0 only if the Firewall component WAS NOT installed.

The following problems might occur by co-work of Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7.0\Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0 and Norton Personal Firewall 2005: 

• network resources are inaccessible 
• some Internet pages cannot be loaded by Mozilla Firefox

In order to resolve these problems, do the following: 

• open the main application window 
• click the Settings button 
• in the left part of the window choose Threats and exclusions 
• in the right part of the window click the Trusted zone button
• go to the Trusted applications tab
• click the Add button
• click the Browse button twice 
• In the Please specify the executable module window find and highlight the file C:\Program files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\ccProxy.exe 
• click the Add button
• in the Properties section clear the box Do not scan opened files and check the box Do not scan network traffic 
• click the OK button in each window 
• minimize the main application window

The dialog windows of Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0 and Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7.0 are the same but with corresponding product names and the number of Protection components.
