Can Kaspersky Labs version 7.0 be installed “on the top” of Kaspersky Lab earlier versions or third-party anti-virus applications?

  • Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0 (all builds)
  • Kaspersky Labs products version 7.0 detect and allow automatically deleting Kaspersky Lab’s products of earlier versions and some third-party anti-virus applications which are compatible with Kaspersky Lab’s products version 7.0.

    When installing versions 7.0 on the computer on which Kaspersky Labs’ products of earlier versions or third-party products incompatible with version 7.0 are already installed you will be suggested to uninstall these programs automatically.

    Click the Next button and the products will be uninstalled by the Wizard automatically.

    If you click the Remove button, the Setup Wizard opens a dialog window which helps to uninstall incompatible applications by standard Windows means.

    Information Products version 7.0 can be installed „on the top“of products version 6.0 and save current protection parameters, license info and do not require removal of products version 6.0.

    Once incompatible applications are removed the Setup Wizard prompts to reboot the PC. First close all applications before clicking the OK button.
