  • Today malicious software has become more sophisticated: unlike previous analogues malware today represents multifunctional complexes that can penetrate deep in the operating system thus making the disinfection process by known standard means almost impossible.

    Kaspersky Lab experts have developed the method to disinfect active infection that allow almost in all cases to neutralize malware irrespective of the penetration level in the operating system.

    Advanced disinfection launches process of erasing malware each time it is detected in RAM or in the start-up objects. In the figure below you can see a special window which is activated when active infection is detected.

    When window of the kind is displayed the user is recommended to start the Advanced Disinfection process by clicking OK.

    It should be noted as Advanced Disinfection process reboots the PC automatically. It is recommended that user saves results of his/her work and closes all applications as soon as active infection is detected.

    During Advanced Disinfection process it is not recommended to 

    • launch any applications 

     

    • edit Windows registry

     

    After the scan is completed Advanced Disinfection process initiates PC reboot. Immediately after reboot the process deletes files of malicious program:

     

    After the treating process it is strongly recommended to perform full computer scan.
