  • Warning Before you activate the product, make sure the system date is set correctly on your PC!

    To prolong the license for Kaspersky Anti-Virus version 7.0, do the following: 

    • Open the main application window 
    • click the Activation menu in the left part of the window 
    • click the link Extend key validity period in the right part of the window 
    • read the conditions regarding license extension on the page: http://www.kaspersky.com/renew
    •  go to the page http://www.kaspersky.com/store 
    • on the E-store page choose your country
    • choose the product you have purchased before
    • click the Buy now button
    • form the order in the e-store. the full procedure is given on the page http://www.kaspersky.com/renew

    Once you have extended the license and received the activation code\ license key, the later should be activated in the program: 

    • open the main application window
    • click Ativation 
    • in the right part of the window click Install key

    Setup Wizards offers the following activation variants:

    • Activate using the activation code 
    • Apply existing license key 
    • Activate later (in this case the Setup Wizard finishes its work and closes the dialog window)

    Variant 1: Activate using the activation code

    • Choose Activate using the activation code and click the Next button

    Information If the current activation code (license key) expires in more than two weeks, then after a new activation code/license key has been activated this period is lost and the license validity period starts from the latest product activation. It also refers to the option Activate trial version (30 days). If a trial version has already been activated then this option will be missing in the window. 

    • In the open dialog window enter your activation code, your Customer ID from the Personal Cabinet (if you are a registered user) and the password 
    • click Next

    Information In order to activate the code successfully, Internet connection should be established. 

    • Wait till the work of the Setup Wizard is over. In case of successful activation the Wizard will display a dialog window with the license number. 
    • Click Finish

    Variant 2: Apply existing license key 

    • choose Apply existing license key 
    • click the Browse button 
    • choose the folder into which the key file has been previousle saved 
    • highlight the key file 
    • click Open 
    • click Next
    • make sure the key file has been installed successfully
    • click the Finish button

    Information If a previous license key is still valid then a new key will be added as a reserve one. One the active key expires; the program will start using the reserve key automatically.

    Information Te dialog windows of Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7.0 and Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0 are the same but with corresponding product names and the number of Protection components.
