The 'black' list of keys is a database that contains the information about key files which cannot be used by the Kaspersky Lab's programs any more. The reasons to register the keys in this database are the following:
Key was changed because of the key invalid function;
Key was changed because the key was activated on a computer with incorrect time and date settings;
Key was changed because of theft;
Key was detected on pirate servers (available for free download)
The 'black ' list of keys is located in the black.lst file. This file is downloaded and saved together with the databases of known threats (anti-virus, anti-spam, network attacks). The file of 'black' list is necessary for the correct function of the Kaspersky Lab's products.
If
no black.lst file is saved on your PC
the black.lst file is damaged
the license key, added to the Kaspersky Lab's application, is registered in the 'black' list of keys,
then the Kaspersky Lab application does not function, and the user is notified of it!
Example:
If the black.lst file is either not saved on the PC or is damaged, start the update task to download it once again.
If you think your license key was added to the 'black' list in error, send the licence key number, purchase information (date, place) and all documents that confirm this purchase to Kaspersky Lab Tech Support, by filling in the HelpDesk form and select the heading of the inquiry as "Key problem".
