Applies to Kaspersky Administration Kit 8.0

The main reason of getting an error of connecting the Console to the Administration Server is that the account running the service Kaspersky Lab Administration Server has been modified manually instead of using the special utility klsrvswch.

In this case, Kaspersky Event Log on the Administration Server registers the following error:

Kaspersky Administration Server stopped due to error.
#1193 (0) Administration Server service account was changed manually. Use klsrvswch utility to change Administration Server service account instead of manual modification.

In order to restore Administration Server operability it is necessary to run klsrvswch utility and use it assign an account to run the Administration Server service. Wait until utility work is over, close the Administration console and connect to the Administration Server.

If you have changed the service account using klsrvswch utility but the Console still cannot connect to the Administration Server, consult Kaspersky Event Log on the Administration Server for presence of other errors. If you have not managed to resolve this issue on your own, save Kaspersky Event Log as a separate evt file and send it along with description of the issue to the Technical support service via Kaspersky Lab support web form.
