How to remotely uninstall Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7.0 or Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0 via Kaspersky Administration Kit

Concerning to:
  • Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0 (all builds)
  • Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7.0 (all builds)
  • Kaspersky Administration Kit 6.0 MP1
  • To remotely uninstall Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7.0 and Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0 from the workstations in the network via Kaspersky Administration Kit, you should do the following:

    1. Download the necessary file: 

      • kav.ini – to remove Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7.0
      • kis.ini – to remove Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0.

    2. On the computer with installed Administration Server, save the file(s) into the subfolder Nagent\Data\Cleaner of the setup folder of Kaspersky Administration Kit. The default setup folder is C:\Program Files\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Administration Kit\Nagent\Data\Cleaner.

    3. Manually restart Kaspersky Administration Server service.

    4. Run the Task wizard from the console node Group tasks or Global tasks (depending on from which computers in the network the application version 7.0 should be removed) 

      • On the Application step in the Task wizard in the Application field select Kaspersky Administration Kit, and in the Task typeProduct deinstallation task

     

     

      • On the Settings step check the box Uninstall the external application and in the Application to uninstall list select Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7.0 or Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0. 

     

      • Follow the instructions in the Task wizard to uninstall the applications.

    5. To uninstall Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7.0 or Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0 run the created task.

    Warning Once the task is performed, computers on which the personal product has been removed should be restarted MANUALLY!
