Concerning to Kaspersky Administration Kit 6.0 MP1

In order to create and fully manage the logical network the Administration Server account:

1. should have the necessary administrator’s rights for the database.

2. on the computer – Administration Server the account: 

    • should be added to the local administrators group; 

 

    • should have the following additional privileges: 
      • Log on as a service; 
      • Act as part of the operating system; 
      • Access this computer from the network; 
      • Replace a process level token; 
      • Increase quotas/ Ad-just memory quotas for a process.

3. To install client applications remotely either the Administration Server account or the defined account can be used. In any case the account should have: 

    • to install an application using push-installation the account should have the following rights on a client computer: 
      • right to start the applications remotely 
      • rights to the Admin$ resource; 
      • Logon as a service right. 
    • to install using login-script scenario, the account should have the following rights: 
      • right to change the startup scenario in the database of the domain controller; 
      • have access to the shared folder on the Administration Server (by default, Program Files\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Administration Kit\Share\Packages).

Warning The account under which the application setup will run should be added to the local administrator group on this computer.

Information The anti-virus applicati0ns can also be installed with the help of the already installed Administration Agent. In this case the above mentioned demands are required to install the Administration Agent only.
