ID Article: 506    Other languages:  Deutsch  日本語  Polski  Русский  Español      Views for 7 days 30    Last modified on 2009 Oct 05 18:51 Printable version

Applies to:
  • Kaspersky Administration Kit 8.0
  • Kaspersky Administration Kit 6.0 MP1
  • Kaspersky Administration Kit 5.0 MP3 (builds 5.0.1104 - 5.0.1152)
  • Kaspersky Administration Kit 5.0 MP2 (build 5.0.0474)
  • To monitor execution of virus scan tasks via Kaspersky Administration Kit the administrator can configure to:

    • save information and notify about the task status: if it was executed successfully or not. You can configure it in the task properties on the Notification tab. The results can be viewed in the History window (task properties > the General tab > the History button) and in the Events node of the console tree.

    • save the information and notify about how the anti-virus scan is being executed. You can configure it in the Anti-virus policy on the Event processing tab > select the necessary events – Virus detected, Object disinfected, Password-protected archive detected, etc (event names can change depending on the version) > configure to store them in the Server database.

Each mentioned event can be notified of by sending e-mail, using NET SEND or by running the executable file (on the same tabs).

Warning You can know which files were scanned only locally, on the client computer. After a group/ global task is created via Kaspersky Administration Kit it is imaged in the Anti-virus local interface. The task saves the report about its work on a client computer.

Information If you want Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.0 for Windows File Servers save all messages to report run the scan task from the command line with the key /WA:[report_file].
