If the Anti-Virus is managed locally, the set of the installed components can be modified the following way:

1. exit the application: right-click the application icon and choose Exit

2. run the application installation using the kav6ws.en.msi file

3. in the Modify, Repair or Remove installation window choose Modify:

4. In the Custom Setup window: 

• To install a previously not installed component, select the missing component from the list, click it and choose Will be installed on local hard drive 

• To remove the installed component, choose the component from the list click it and choose Entire feature will be unavailable.

The procedure will not affect other components. The required component will be installed/ uninstalled.

 

5. Click Next in the same window and follow the Setup wizard instructions.

 

To reinstall the application with the same set of the installed components, run the setup.exe file from the application distributive.

If the Anti-Virus is managed remotely, in this case the set of the installed components can be changed by full reinstallation of the application “over the top”.

For it create an installation package in which you should select all the necessary components (those which are already installed and the ones you are going to install). Then create the task to install the package and in the task’s settings clear the box Do not install application if it already installed. Run the task.
