Concerning to:

- Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.0 for Windows File Servers
- Kaspersky Administration Kit 6.0 MP 1
- Kaspersky Administration Kit 5.0
Remote administration program RAdmin is added to an extended set of anti-virus databases and is correspondingly detected by Kaspersky Anti-Virus as not-a-virus. If you want the Anti-Virus not to detect RAdmin, exclude detection of the programs of the kind via the policy or the Anti-Virus interface.
To set exclusions via the policy:
1. In the application’s policy go to the Threats and Exclusions (in Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Windows Workstations)/ Riskware(in Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Windows File Servers) tab
2. Click the Add button and in the open window in the Threat/Riskware verdict mask field enter not-a-virus:RemoteAdmin.Win32.RAdmin*. Click OK.
NOTE! Never enter the *RAdmin* mask as in this case you can let through obviously malicious programs, like Backdoor.Win32.RAdmin.a.

3. „Lock“ the setting.
4. To apply the exclusions when running real-time file protection and on-demand scan tasks go to the Files and On-demand scan tabs > click the Advanced button > go to the Additional tab > click the Do not detect trusted riskware box. „Lock” the setting.

5. Double-click the OK button.
Pay attention, when scanning locally an object by the command Scan for viruses from its context menu (Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Windows Workstations) settings of the Scan objects task are used. The policy is not applied to this task. This task can be set locally only – in the main window of the Anti-Virus on the Protection tab click the Scan objects link. In the open window click the Settings button and define the necessary parameters in the open window.
