Concerning to Kaspersky Administration Kit 6.0 MP1
The following reasons might block the task of remote push installation on one (or several) client computers:
- If Simple File Sharing is enabled on a client computer, it should be disabled.
- OS Windows Vista is installed on client computer and for computers
- in the domain: option Public folder sharing is disabled;
- in the workgroup: option Password protection sharing is disabled, the Administrator's account is disabled and/or a password for it is not set.
- Server is not started on a client computer.
- Account under which the task of remote push install is executed does not have one (or several) of the following rights:
- Rights for applications remote start on client's computers of the logical network;
- Right for the Admin$ resource;
- Logon as a service right.
- When creating the task of remote install on the account step either password or the account has been specified not correctly.
- The push install task is being executed on the computer with OS Windows 98/Me on which the Administration Agent is not installed.
- This application is already installed on the client computer and in Product deployment task > Properties > the Settings tab > the Advanced button > the Do not install on hosts on which the application is already installed checkbox is checked
- Installation is done by the Agent means, and there is no connection between the Agent and the Server. The reasons for it might be the following:
- At the task startup the client computer was switched off;
- The following ports are not opened on a client computer (in case of the initial installation of the Network Agent):
- TCP 139
- TCP 445
- UDP 137
- UDP 138
- This task was once successfully executed on the client computer.
If you are executing product deinstallation task, the reasons why the task fails might be the same. Another reason is that the account, under which the task is being run, does not have rights to deinstall remotely.
