Offers complete protection for my computer.
I am very satisfied with the protection and notifications when needed.

I wanted an antivirus with spam control and Kaspersky sold both in one. My complaint is that I still have to designate which ones are spam. And it also seems that my email is now more inundated with spam mail.
Otherwise I am happy with it. It does not hog my computer while it scans. It also does not flash a screen to notify an update was installed. I like it's silence.
I recommend it but they can improve the email spam.

I Love Kaspersky One Universal Security
Kaspersky protection came with my new laptop, and I have used nothing else since. I have had no problems and would recommend this program to anyone.

Kaspersky exceeded all of my expectations!
I had chronic issues with my previous antivirus solution on Windows 7 64 Bit with a 4 core processor. The scans never finished (running 18 hours before I would shut down the computer), and I encountered weekly blue screen crashes that were mentioned components of that previous antivirus product as the root cause. Kaspersky completes antivirus scans in about 90 minutes, no more blue screens. Kaspersky is exactly what I was looking for but I did not anticipate that the full scan would be so very fast. I am totally satisfied and would recommend this product to anyone and everyone.

Renewal of protection s/w
This is my third renewal of the Kaspersky protection s/w for my computer and I would not change. I have only had to use the technical support twice over the last few years and each time it was excellent. I have 3 pieces of equipment protected and will protect my 4th piece when I buy it in the Fall.
I believe the price to be fair and have recommended this company to friends and fellow workers over the last several years.

Annoying update frequency
Kaspersky does a great job keeping you safe, but it will let you know about it daily, if not a few times per day. Daily, you will be notified that the databases are out of date and that you must update them immediately. Unfortunately, there does not seem to be a setting to allow automatic updating.
The update window is also slow to engage, so you'll end up trying to update the databases numerous times.
If you have an expectation for this to be a low maintenance product, this is NOT for you.

Why I went with Kaspersky
Unless one is a technical wizard and able to impose known challenges upon a piece of software and analyze the result one is not going to have a meaningful basis for evaluating the efficacy of computer security software.
With that caveat in mind: I turned to Kaspersky because one of the other top three in the business (lots of black & yellow on the label) fell down and allowed me to become infected with a suite of trojans, worms, and viruses that came to me by way of a Bulk Downloading tool on one of the free photo hosting sites.
Kaspersky caught some of the infections that I was unable to clear out on y own. My old PC protection software failed to detect any of it.
So my move was driven by my observation that Kaspersky caught and dealt with more malware than the other software did. A classic no-brainer.
Since installing Kaspersky, it has warned me about loading certain executable files which, once loaded, would be able to operate independently of Kaspersky protection. This saved me from harming my system out of my own ignorance. Interestingly the only warnings I got like that were as to dangerous executables and not once over a legitimate program.
Kaspersky loads fast. It does not noticeably clog my system memory or CPU, It does not interfere with boot up. While using it, I migrated from XP pro 32bit to Windows 7 home premium retail 64bit and experienced no hitches.
So, aside from being the evil overlord of Arrakis and oppressor of the Fremen, I’m a happy Kaspersky customer
