Response Times to New Threats
Kaspersky Lab products achieve a high level of detection of malicious software through a combination of signature and proactive protection technologies. In order for the signature method to be effective, the developers of antivirus solutions must have a quick response time to the emergence of new malware.
Kaspersky Lab's high response times to new threats are confirmed by research conducted by AV-Test.org in January 2008. Testing showed that the reaction time to new malware is less than two hours.
