Antivirus Updates

By default, all products automatically update the antivirus databases; therefore, there is no need to use the zip files below unless you do not want to enable the automatic updates. For best protection, automatic updates should be enabled.

To minimize the amount of data that is downloads, product versions 7 and earlier have the ability to update databases manually.

The Kaspersky Anti-Virus database currently contains 942397*records.

* This number shows the number of records in the standard antivirus databases. Your antivirus solution may show a different number, depending on which antivirus databases are being used.
