Kaspersky Lab named finalist in four SC Magazine Awards
Kaspersky Lab’s Enterprise Security software has been named as a finalist in four categories of this year’s prestigious SC Magazine Awards. Kaspersky® Enterprise Security is nominated as a finalist in the following categories: Best Anti-Malware Solution; Best SME Security Solution; Security Product of the Year; and the Innovation Award for technology.
The SC Magazine Awards showcase the best products and services in the information security industry and are voted for by both readers of the international IT security magazine and an independent judging panel. Says Paul Fisher, editor, SC Magazine: “The SC Magazine Awards Europe highlight the very best of the security industry and attract around 1300 nominations each year. The awards reward excellence and are unrivalled in terms of prestige. To be nominated in four categories is a great achievement.”
The nominations reflect Kaspersky Lab’s position as a groundbreaker in security software. It is the only company to update its protection hourly and consistently leads the industry in malware detection and response times.
Kaspersky® Enterprise Security safeguards servers, workstations, laptops and other mobile devices from viruses, worms, Trojans, spyware, crimeware, hacker attacks, phishing and spam. Developed to run in a multi-platform and multi-operating system environment, it supports Windows, Linux/Unix, Novell, Microsoft ISA/Exchange and Lotus Domino, among others. It includes, as standard (and centrally-managed): anti-virus; anti-spyware; anti-rootkit; registry & application guard; host-based IDS; personal firewall; and anti-spam.
Comments Svetlana Ivanova, managing director of Kaspersky Lab UK: “Kaspersky Lab invests much effort into ensuring its products and services remain at the cutting edge, and consistently one step ahead of other leading vendors. We are very proud to have been selected as a finalist for these four categories.”
Winners of the awards will be announced on 24 April, to co-incide with InfoSecurity Europe, at a ceremony in central London.
