Kaspersky Lab Congratulates Scuderia Ferrari on Success at the Spanish Grand Prix

Kaspersky Lab, a leading developer of secure content and threat management solutions, is pleased to congratulate Scuderia Ferrari racing team on its success at the Formula One Grand Prix of Spain in Catalunya. Fernando Alonso finished the race in second position in his F2012 single-seater, which puts him second in the 2012 championship.

About the sponsorship

Kaspersky Lab entered the world of motor racing in May 2010, sponsoring the AF Corse Ferrari team at the Le Mans Series and assuming the position of ‘Official Supplier” to Scuderia Ferrari. Half a year later Kaspersky Lab became an ‘Official Sponsor’ of the team: Kaspersky Lab’s logo appeared on Ferrari’s Formula One cars.

The companies have also released of a co-branded product: Kaspersky Internet Security Special Ferrari Edition. This security solution comes with a Ferrari-style user interface and the Ferrari Virtual Academy video simulator game to align Kaspersky Lab’s best-of-breed anti-malware technologies with the world-famous image of Scuderia Ferrari.

The high-profile Kaspersky Lab logo, featured on the nose cone and on nose sides, will be seen at all Formula One races in the 2012 and 2013 seasons. This is the part of the new expanded sponsorship agreement between Scuderia Ferrari racing team and Kaspersky Lab, which was unveiled at the final Formula One Grand Prix of the 2011 season in São Paulo.
