Kaspersky Lab has announced a new attach deal with Best Buy UK, part of the world's leading technology store, which will see the companies join forces to help Best Buy's customers use the web with confidence.

Customers visiting any of the Best Buy stores nationwide and its new transactional website at www.bestbuy.co.uk will receive 50% off Kaspersky Lab's flagship products when purchasing any laptop or desktop computer.

The promotion applies to the Internet Security and Kaspersky PURE suite of internet protection products. Kaspersky Lab's products will also be available to Best Buy customers as a half price bundle offer with Microsoft Office Home and Student edition 2011. A larger range of Kaspersky products are available from Best Buy's stores and website.

"We know that a secure, stable and ultra-fast home hub is at the core of a fully-connected home. Our customers tell us that they want to watch, share and access their entertainment at home and on the go, and stay connected with the people they know" explains Rene Wright, Head of Computing at Best Buy UK. “This partnership with Kaspersky Lab will make it easier for us to offer our customers world-class internet security at affordable prices, so they can enjoy the peace of mind and benefits it brings."

"Digital security has become a serious issue for anyone entering the online world from any kind of connection. This partnership means that Best Buy's customers can feel confident that their connected products are reliable and protected when they surf the web, download music, shop online or spend time on social networks," explains Malcolm Tuck, Managing Director for Kaspersky Lab UK.

Best Buy customers in the UK will be able to take full advantage of the new generation of Kaspersky Lab products, which have innovative security technologies to keep PCs and laptops clean and families safe. Along with taking the appropriate precautions to ensure wireless networks are firewalled and password-protected, Kaspersky Lab employs proactive technologies to keep malware off computers in the first place, rather than trying to tackle the problem once it is too late.
