There is also an exclusive promotion that enables customers who purchase a Netbook from Argos to buy Kaspersky® Internet Security for Netbooks in a special USB edition, at half the recommended retail price.
Software Buyer at Argos, Iain Wareham comments: "Argos is committed to bringing the top brands and the very best products to its customers and as such Kaspersky Lab's security software is very welcome addition to our new catalogue."
Kaspersky Lab is the second fastest-growing company after Google, with a 64% higher growth rate than its nearest rival Nintendo. It is committed to growing its footprint on the UK high-street, as well as major online and destination stores. Managing Director of Kaspersky Lab UK and Ireland, Malcolm Tuck comments: "Two thirds of UK households are in possession of an Argos catalogue at any time. It is also one of the most visited high street retail websites in the UK and therefore, it is very important milestone that our products are now available from Argos."
The new Argos catalogue was distributed across more than 700 stores throughout the UK and Republic of Ireland, on Friday 23rd January as well as online at www.argos.co.uk.
Kaspersky® Internet Security 2010 has been awarded the Computeractive Best Buy as well as winning a test of the leading Internet security suites conducted by Computer Shopper magazine.
