Kaspersky Lab's AntiViral Toolkit Pro achieves Trojan Checkmark certificate

Cambridge, UK, March 30, 2000 - Kaspersky Lab Int., an international anti-virus software vendor, announces that their flagship anti-virus product AntiViral Toolkit Pro (AVP) has achieved the Trojan Checkmark certificate from the major international independent test centre West Coast Labs (For current test status and to understand the Checkmark system please visit www.check-mark.com).

CHECKMARK This testing procedure is repeated at least every six weeks and if a product fails to maintain its level of detection, its Checkmark is suspended and even withdrawn if the manufacturer does not improve the product's detection rate. This means that users can put their faith in products displaying the Checkmark, an indicator of the vendor's ongoing commitment to good quality and reliability.
