Security Analysts' Summit 2011

What is it?

The Security Analysts’ Summit is an invitation-only security conference aimed at connecting Kaspersky Lab malware and spam analysts with external security researchers and law enforcement officials to improve cooperation, networking and the sharing of ideas.

Invitations are sent to security professionals around the world who are involved in the fight against cybercrime. The audience includes software vendors, anti-malware/anti-spam researchers, law enforcement professionals, vulnerability researchers and security response teams.

The presentations will be made by a combination of Kaspersky Lab researchers and external speakers who are invited to submit talks on a case-by-case basis. Presentations are chosen based on their relevance to the threat landscape and the fight against global cybercrime.

This year’s summit will focus on how to improve cooperation between researchers and law enforcement agencies, innovations in blocking malware threats, the shift to application vulnerabilities, regional issues such as rogueware and banker Trojans, botnets using PDFs & obfuscated iFrames and the latest underground business schemes.

Join us and tell us what you would like to share and discuss.
