Kaspersky® Anti-Virus Personal 5.0 wins Best Buy Award from Computer Buyer
19 Jan 2006
Kaspersky® Anti-Virus Personal has won the Computer Buyer Best Buy award in the March edition of Computer Buyer, a leading magazine for the home user and small business community.
The review tested six leading antivirus programs against a set of criteria that included: detection rates, usability, functionality, reporting and even how products coped when loaded onto a pre-infected PC.
One of the factors that helped Kaspersky Anti-Virus Personal to win the award was it's ability to detect every virus that they 'threw' at it as well as every other form of malware that they tested, including Trojans, diallers and spyware. After analyzing the test results the reviewers declared, "In the end we voted for Kaspersky Anti-Virus Personal 5.0. This product didn't come with many fancy extras like a firewall or a spam filter, but it's a top class virus checker – detecting all of the malware as well as all of the viruses – and it uses minimal resources without compromising the level of protection it provides”.
Overall, Kaspersky Anti-Virus Personal was described as "unbeatable protection that won't break the bank or slow your computer down".
