Kaspersky Lab announces the release of Maintenance Pack 4 for the Kaspersky® Anti-Virus product family (Russian and English versions):
  • Kaspersky Anti-Virus Personal (versions 4.0.6.0, 4.0.7.0)
  • Kaspersky Anti-Virus Personal Pro (versions 4.0.6.0, 4.0.7.0)
  • Kaspersky Anti-Virus Business Optimal for Windows Workstations (versions 4.0.5.0, 4.0.7.0)
  • Kaspersky Anti-Virus Business Optimal for Windows Servers (versions 4.0.5.0, 4.0.7.0)
The Maintenance Pack includes the following changes and additions: Module: Kaspersky Anti-Virus Scanner
  • Correction of error occurring when scanning files with mask with more than one mask assigned.
  • Correction of error occurring when handling the Kernel132.dll module while scanning memory processes.
  • Correction of error occurring upon deleting certain infected archives.
  • Default settings for Kaspersky Anti-Virus Scanner have been optimized. Module: Kaspersky Anti-Virus Monitor
  • Correction of error occurring when deleting certain infected archives.
  • Default settings for Kaspersky Anti-Virus Monitor have been optimized.
Module: Kaspersky Anti-Virus Mail Checker
  • Correction of the error occurring when receiving messages containing specific attachments.
Module: Kaspersky Anti-Virus Control Center
  • Correction of the error occurring when exiting Control Center.
Maintenance Pack 4 includes all the changes contained in the earlier Maintenance Pack 3. Kaspersky Anti-Virus Business Optimal for Windows Workstations and Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Windows Servers can install Maintenance Pack 4 remotely using Kaspersky® Administration Kit.
