Kaspersky Anti-Virus Personal wins an award from the Danish magazine "Alt om Net & PC PRO"
The popular Danish computer magazine "Alt om NET & PC PRO"
, devoted part of its 12th and final edition of the year to the problem of defending computers against viruses. The magazine tested the market's most popular anti-virus products. Kaspersky Anti-Virus Personal turned in the best performance for malicious code detection and took overall victory in the competition.
In addition to the anti-virus solution provided by Kaspersky Lab other products taking part in the competition were: Norman Virus Control 5.4, Norton Anti-Virus 2003, F-Secure Anti-Virus 5.40, Sophos Anti-Virus 3.56, Trend PC-Cillin 2002, Panda Titanium 2.04, McAfeeVirusScan 7.0 and e-Trust EZ Antivirus 6.0.
Kaspersky Anti-Virus demonstrated a significant advantage over all other products in virtually every test conducted. As usual, the anti-virus solution from Kaspersky Lab proved to be the best in detecting malicious programs and was the only product that was able to detect viruses in archived files. The magazine's editorial staff also awarded Kaspersky Anti-Virus Personal high marks for its rich functionality and user-friendliness.
