At its first European partner conference, Kaspersky Lab presented outstanding performance awards to corporate and retail partners in six categories. More than 100 top European channel partners and high-level Kaspersky Lab executives convened on the island of Tenerife to discuss the conference’s theme: “protecting your customers, protecting your margins”.
Corporate sector winners included ectacom from Germany, which was named “Best European Distributor”, SoftwareONE from Switzerland, named “Best Performing European Reseller”, and WickHill from the UK for “Best Marketing Activity”. In the retail sector, Koch Media (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) received the award for “Best European Distributor” while UK-based Gem was named “Best Newcomer” and NEXWAY from France achieved “Best Marketing Activity”.

Helping channel partners to grow business
At the conference kick-off, Kaspersky Lab executives, including COO Eugene Buyakin and Keith Maskell, Vice President Corporate Business, shared the global business update, demonstrating achievements and future prospects as well as introducing the new corporate business strategy, which is aimed at significantly growing business for partners and Kaspersky Lab. Marketing and sales oriented breakout sessions informed partners about maximising opportunities and revenue with Kaspersky Lab, while executive round-tables enabled channel partners to directly engage with Kaspersky Lab executives and discuss the business strategy.
Both the channel partners and Kaspersky Lab viewed the event as successful as it generated new relationships, updated partners with Kaspersky Lab’s new business strategy and provided a great forum for discussion of current business trends in the security industry.
