The Kaspersky Lab student conference ‘IT Security for the Next Generation’ brings together the winners from three preliminary rounds held in Europe, Asia, and Russia and the CIS. More than 100 students and professors from leading universities from around the world took part in the conference, along with representatives from Kaspersky Lab’s HQ and regional offices, the media and an invited audience.

The conference took place at the Jagiellonian University, The Institute of Computer Science, Krakow, is the oldest institution of higher education in Poland and one of the oldest universities in the world. According to the international ranking published by The Times Higher Education Supplement, it is Poland’s premier university. Jagiellonian University is a member of several prestigious groups and associations that bring together some of the world’s elite institutions, e.g. Coimbra and Europaeum.
